Welcome to TRU64.sanyalnet.lan. This is a Digital AlphaServer 400 4/166 running Tru64 Unix version 5.0. It speaks Internet Protocol (IP) and Digital Equipment Corporation's DECnet-Plus OSI (DECnet Phase V) protocol, as well as Windows Networking NetBIOS/NetBEUI protocols with other computers. It is part of the HECnet global hobbyist DECnet network.

This web page is served by Nigel Griffiths' nweb: a tiny, safe Web server. The Tru64 build is available here.

This is an emulated AlphaServer 400 4/166 running inside a Migration Specialties FreeAXP instance. Here are pictures of a real AlphaServer 400 4/166 found on eBay:

SANYALnet Labs

That is just a name I have given my disorganized bunch of computers and electronics hobby projects; it is nebulous and does not really mean anything. Equivalent to "junk in the basement."
